Born in Poland; a graduate of the Institute of Art in Krakow. The subject of his creation is focused on landscape, still life and figurative painting. His artwork reflects nature and captures the impressionistic and expressionistic view of the world. The colors, tones and shapes are carefully composed based on the artist?s scrupulous observation of the surroundings and converted through his artistic vision.

His diverse artwork has been exhibited in many galleries in Poland and continues to enrich numerous interiors in the United States and Europe.

Janusz Migasiuk?s latest carved wood painting series was born from the desire to articulate his artistic needs in an expressionistic, vibrant and energetic way. The freedom of line, form and color opened up new possibilities and allowed for communicating through art in a different way. This entirely new creation process proved to be liberating and extremely refreshing.

Janusz lives with his wife and son in Chicago and continues to gain motivation from his surroundings and experiences. His artwork carries on his artistic vision and passion.
