The Artist
Lorrisa Julianus
Born and raised in the Chicago area, Lorrisa is inspired by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, Caravaggio, and Jon Paul. She has been creating portraits since 1998 and continues to be
most fascinated by the human form and its dramatic expressions.
Lorrisa's other accomplishments include becoming a published playwright (Samuel French, Inc.) at age 16, and the following year she became the youngest graduate of record with a
B.A. from Columbia College Chicago.
When she is not in commercials, films, or videogames including Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, Lorrisa models for major companies, works in professional theatre, entertains at
black tie events, and is a professional makeup artist. Lorrisa teaches drawing and acrylic painting at the Brigantine. She is married to a former Navy SEAL team member who's her
favorite work of art.
